It's Got To Be My Imagination

Hannity's radio show today had its share of bluster, but there seemed to be a lot more liberals calling in - and he seemed to be even (shudder) tolerating them. In fact, a few of the calls were downright hysterical and even made Hannity reluctantly crack up. (This happens when you open the lines to real-people liberals - they tend to be entertaining.)

One caller, Steve from - yay - Los Angeles was on for an entire segment betting Hannity dinner at Ruth's Chris over the official unemployment figures. It was the first time I heard them let a smart leftist through the screening, and it was radio magic - a very, very funny segment. (Personally, I'll debate with satan if you dangle a Ruth's Chris meal in front of me.)

Did something (or someone) tell Hannity that he should open things up to the other 50% of the listening public? Or was his "Daily Show" experience some sort of epiphany?

Or is my head just screwed on backwards today? That's got to be it. (Because I'm overusing parenthetical afterthoughts.)
