Rocket attack as Rumsfeld visits Kabul
A ROCKET exploded outside the United States Embassy in Kabul yesterday on the day the US defence secretary, Donald Rumsfeld, visited in a bid to dismiss widespread concerns over Afghanistan’s spiralling insecurity.
The attack came hours after an Afghan aid worker was killed and 11 others wounded in an ambush, amid fears of a Taleban resurgence in the south of the country.
