A conservative group based in Washington, Judicial Watch, plans to file a lawsuit, perhaps as soon as this week, to gain access to the records [of then-Governor Howard Dean], which were sealed under the executive privilege exemption to the Vermont Public Records Act and include reams of correspondence with the state staff.
"He has been acting like he has something to hide," said Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch.
But that's not all! The GOP is sending their chair-rottweiler
into the fray:
Republican Party Chairman Ed Gillespie on Tuesday went to Vermont — Howard Dean's home state — for the first time and criticized the Democratic presidential candidate for his stance on the war, comments about military pay and refusal to open his records.
Guilty until proven REALLY guilty. These are shameless asses who can't handle the fact that this guy's gaining momentum and money, so they do this desperate dance. Christ almighty, they're sick and predictable.
