I Sense Another Free Pass

Just like everything else they're trying to get away with...

WASHINGTON, July 11 (AP) — The Bush administration spent hundreds of thousands of dollars from its health and welfare budget for presidential events around the nation last year, most coinciding with campaign appearances for Republican candidates.

A report released today by the General Accounting Office, the investigative arm of Congress, identified 15 trips for which the White House asked the Department of Health and Human Services to pick up the costs.
