On the bus to the Hollywood Bowl last night, we noticed the first $1.99 gasoline in a long time. This, like watching dust particles, got me thinking.
These gas prices are obviously a result of circumstances before last weekend's terrorist alert. After those alerts, oil prices jumped to record prices per barrel, and now the $50 mark is in reach.
What were getting at here is this: If Bush wants to include lower prices at the pump as a sign of his deteriorating "turned-the-corner" economy, he'd better knock off his addiction to terror threats.
