A pal is asking me if I prefer this laptop (an HP refurb) or this laptop (an eMachines new).
Almost looks like a coin flip to me. HP's has more stuff, but I've had problems with their support in the past. A little geekhelp would be appreciated (and please don't say "Get a Powerbook" - he's on a budget). On behalf of him, thanks.
UPDATE: He says he wants it to be the centerpiece of a Pro Tools Mbox system (audio editing). It's got my interest piqued now.
