I still believe that CBS - more specifically, Infinity chief Mel Karmazin - is still smarting from the relentless and idiotic post-Janet's-boob smackdown by Michael Powell and the House, and has given the green-light to screw with the administration by anyone who wishes to do so. Howard Stern and David Letterman, CBS/Infinity's two top talents, seem to have picked up the gauntlet.
Not that I'm complaining, mind you. Hmmm. Maybe Mel would like to make a bid for Air America and put it on radio stations not relegated to the upper four-digit ghetto of the AM dial?
