As many as 12 U.S. troops are feared killed, according to initial Pentagon reports, after Iraqi insurgents mounted a large-scale attack against U.S. Marines in the western city of Ramadi late Tuesday. It is the latest in a series of clashes with anti-coalition forces across the country.
