Stephanie Herseth VERY narrowly won - but still won - another Dem congressional seat by defeating Republican Larry Diedrich in South Dakota tonight as voters chose their replacement for Rep. Manslaughter (R). With 98% of the precincts reporting, the margin is barely 2,000 votes and is a percentage tie at 50% apiece. Whew.
