CNN Drinks Cheney's Kool-Aid

The poll on CNN's homepage asks, "Is being sensitive important in the war on terror?"

This is the result of Dick Cheney's bashing point on Kerry. Check CNN's wording on this story.
Cheney blasts Kerry over 'sensitive war' remark

Drawing derisive chuckles from the crowd, Vice President Dick Cheney Thursday blasted Sen. John Kerry for a remark the Democratic presidential candidate made last week about fighting a "more sensitive war on terror" if elected.

"America has been in too many wars for any of our wishes, but not a one of them was won by being sensitive," Cheney told a crowd of veterans, law enforcement officers, firefighters and current members of the armed services in Dayton, Ohio.
Most folks would cluck and tsk and shake their heads and move on to the next story at this point - it's not until the fifth paragraph when CNN puts context into Kerry's remark. What he REALLY SAID was...
"I believe I can fight a more effective, more thoughtful, more strategic, more proactive, more sensitive war on terror that reaches out to other nations and brings them to our side."
Naturally, he wasn't talking about being sensitive to terrorists - but to our allies which Bush has blindly bullied and scorched in his rush to fast relief (which by the way, hasn't worked yet).

Yeah, this is now a right wing hack topic of conversation by the usual suspects. Get used to it. This is how they play the game.
