We bloggers sometimes feel we throw a lot of stuff against the wall, hoping beyond hope to strike a nerve, let off some steam - maybe get a link in Buzzflash to spike our hit counter. And sometimes we really wonder if we're making a difference or just mercilessly killing time with a sledgehammer.
Then something jumps out that transcends mere blogging and should - must - be picked up and read by anyone who is concerned with the direction of the Democratic party - and how we must absolutely not allow others to define us and our candidates. Not the wingnuts. Not the media. Not the White House. Atrios has written such a piece, titled "Bush vs. Straw" and it's magnificent.
Read it. It's the sort of thing that makes us all proud to be doing this.
