This Is Turning Into A Bad Habit

Now Rumsfeld makes a "surprise" several-hour visit to the new free Iraq:

Rumsfeld Makes Unannounced Visit to Iraq

Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld made an unannounced visit to this northern Iraqi city Saturday to gauge the pace of progress toward stabilizing the country and defeating the insurgency. The trip also marked the first time Rumsfeld has visited Kirkuk, the center of Iraq's northern oil fields.

Meanwhile, a funeral north of Baghdad for two Iraqis killed in a firefight with U.S. troops turned violent, with mourners killing a security officer and chanting pro-Saddam Hussein slogans over his body.
I have about 45 minutes free this weekend. Maybe I'll drop in to Iraq under the cloak of darkness. Seems to be the thing to do.
