Lou Dobbs

I'm still trying to figure out why this guy who rails on companies who outsource jobs overseas still supports Bush, who wholeheartedly supports this practice. Night after night, Lou bangs the drum of America exporting jobs overseas (and giving domestic jobs to "illegal aliens").

Even more bizarre was his argument tonight with Bruce Joston of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

DOBBS: The fact of the matter is, as I look up, I see the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Manufacturers, American Bankers Association, all of you working in your own ways in support of the Republican Party and President Bush. You haven't created the jobs that he's been depending on for reelection. You haven't been investing in the country. You have been outsourcing, for whatever reason and I take...

JOSTEN: That's not true.

DOBBS: Tell you what, let me finish and I'll let you finish your thoughts, OK?

Huh? Lou's blaming THEM for betraying the president? These guys are supposed to bail Bush out by creating the jobs? Au contraire, Lou. They're doing exactly what the president says is peachy keen.

Flashback to February 10th - Bush's economic report to Congress:

“When a good or service is produced at lower cost in another country, it makes sense to import it rather than to produce it domestically."

Lou, your most favorite president in the whole world is blowing holes in your entire act. And every night, you keep coming up with reasons why we SHOULDN'T vote for him.
