Yesterday my wife and I left for an 18-hour trip to Moscow (both business and personal). Against my better judgement, I wore my John Kerry for President t-shirt (I didn't want to upset some TSA inspector who may decide to do a full body cavity search).
Anyway, in Dulles airport, I had several people stop me and ask me where I purchased my t-shirt. I had others make a point of telling me that they liked my shirt. I am sure that there were Bush supporters out there but nobody treated my rudely.
Then I was in Heathrow. One American approached me asking where he could get a similar shirt -- and several others just wanted to tell me that they supported Kerry.
Once I got to Moscow, I didn't meet any Americans that made any comment, but a few Brits gave positive comments.
I was ready for people to spit on me, and instead, I was cheered. This really makes me feel good about the race.

Behold the Power of the John Kerry Shirt
Hoffmania Washington correspondent Michael O is very wisely out of the country - but he posts this report on his wardrobe choice and the global reaction to it.
