YES! Dammit, YES!

No apologies for the language at the NYC fundraiser! YES! THIS is how you respond to the RNC's righteous bullcrap:
[John] Edwards said scathing anti-Bush attacks such as the concert and Michael Moore's new film "Fahrenheit 9/11" reflect an "expression by folks with genuine feelings," adding, "Thank goodness in our country they have a right to express those feelings," the North Carolina senator said.
YES!

UPDATE: Here's Kerry's answer to the same question:
Kerry dismissed criticism from Republicans about a Democratic fund-raising concert Thursday in New York at which entertainers used such characterizations as "liar" and "cheap thug" to castigate Bush.

The GOP criticized Kerry and Edwards, the guests of honor, for not denouncing the attacks.

"We speak for ourselves. The folks who entertain have their own views, and they don't speak for us and they didn't speak for us," Kerry said. "And some of them, in our judgment, went over a line that neither of us would choose to go over. But we understand their anger. We understand their frustration," Kerry said.
Sweet music to our ears. Kerry's finally showing us a preview of his "great finisher" rep. We LIKE these guys.
